Inviting Homeowners and Board Members

Invite residents, approve access, and manage who can use board-only tools.

Member management controls who can access your neighborhood workspace and which tools they can use.

Member vs. board admin

Most homeowners should be members. Members can access resident-facing workflows such as documents, messages, voting, and their own architectural review applications.

Board members and committee members can be added as admins when they need access to board workflows. For now, HoatzinHome keeps this simple with member and admin access, while superadmin access is reserved for Hoatzin operations.

Before inviting everyone

Check that your board has:

  • Uploaded the main governing documents
  • Confirmed the board admin list
  • Reviewed the member approval workflow
  • Tested the resident experience with one or two friendly users

Keeping access clean

As homes sell or board members change, update access promptly. Clean access helps voting eligibility, private board workflows, architectural review history, and resident communication stay accurate.
